Hello everyone. There’s a very good book I would like to recommend. It’s called “Jesus, King of Love” by Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey. I just finished it, it’s very good and it’s all about what devotion to the Sacred Heart is and entails. He was a priest who heavily promoted Enthronement to the Sacred Heart in peoples’ homes and obtaining graces by offering up sufferings and trials to obtain graces for others, in the same spirit that we would pray at Eucharistic adoration. Here’s a link to an online copy of it.

Good book recommendations. Will definitely give Holy Abandonment a read. Another one I would recommend is The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence. It’s essentially how to make oneself aware of God’s presence in their lives and in every minute action that someone does. It’s short, but very powerful and it’s really a simple way to fulfill the Holy Spirit’s will to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
